Race: Meric, gnome sized witches and warlocks who are naturally very curious beings with a great affinity for magic.
Class: Nothlmancer
Title: The Witch
Personality: Slightly energetic though can get depressed easily.
Back story (Real world): Tara was born the youngest of three siblings, although unlike her sister and  brother, Tara was born with a fairly weak body, being prone to sickness more often then the average child. Because of her affliction, Tara couldn't normally leave her own home as often as she wished, she risked too much exposure by playing with the other children. Overtime she developed the preference to be alone and anyway from everything that troubled her, the people who would tease her for her home schooling and home tutoring when she did manage a trip out the house, the feeling of being so lethargic half the time, it was maddening for her till her mother left her a gift on the bed she spentany moons in. A strange helmet and what looked like a game, which she wrote on it's cover with sharpie.

"I've always hated seeing you so locked up, and maybe in time things will be better. But for now, maybe this can help pass the time?" ~ Mom
Back story (Character): The Merics were once quite a peaceful people, they kept to their home of Tamni, a small city nestledup in foot of a large mountain, practicing an art they developed known as nothlmancy, a magic derived from interaction with various spiritual entities and primal magic from a place known as the nothlrealm. Most races dismissed it as trivial voodoo nonsense, some however took action. A clergy composed of zealous "crusaders", only known as The Bright Lance, marched upon Tamni determined to purge it of it's heretical ways, for who would deny the blessed warmth of the light's grace? The righteous had sieged Tamni for seven days and seven nights, showing no signs of backing down from the task at hand. Driven to desperation, the merics resorted to deadly practices, numerous attempts to invoke the wrath of spirits and forces they couldn't comprehend, summoning of beings and tapping the realm for power, all leading up to a cataclysmic event that razed the region with uncontrollable storms of energy, twisting or destroying whoever or whatever caught within. After the land had settled, those merics who survived found themselves altered, forever left with a fraction of the primal backlash in their bodies which granted them new abilities they thought they never had.
Strange new powers in mind, they fled what is now called The Blackwald, for not all beings warped by the storms where pleasant to be around, now searching for a new place in the world.

Starting Skills:
Cloak of Noth (Passive): A thin layer of spectral dust coats the caster, increasing their defense by 0.5 per layer of dust. Layers have a maximum stack of four, every three levels increases this stack by one. Layers restore every 15 minutes out of combat.
Spirit Shock (Active): A twisting arc of primal magic is released from the caster's fingertips, dealing 80 hitpoints of damage but increasing the damage of the next fade shock by 10, stacks 3 times. Leveling increases fade shock's initial damage by 10 and aditional increases by 2.
